Attorney Robert H. Fennessy earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Northeastern University in 1977, a Master of Education degree at Boston University in 1981, and a Juris Doctorate at Southern New England School of Law (SNESL) in 2001. While at SNESL, he was elected President of the Student Bar Association, and at graduation was awarded the coveted Amicus Award for academic acheivement and service to the school, the St. Thomas More Award for ethics in law, and was the recipient of The Dean's Award. A former Police Officer and Municipal Town Administrator, Attorney Fennessy opened his law practice in 2002 in Plainville, MA and in 2003 he moved his office to its current location in Walpole. He remains active in his community as a town official and as a youth sports coach. He is a former Big Brother Association volunteer, a current member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater Attleboro and Taunton, and teaches religious education classes in his hometown. In his desire to assist law students in their education, Attorney Fennessy was appointed as an adjunct professor of law at the Southern New England School of Law, where he has taught courses in both Municipal Law and Animal Law. Although his practice is centered in Walpole, he routinely travels throughout the Commonwealth to assist his clients with their legal needs. Home, evening, and weekend appointments are cheerfully scheduled.
